So far it is looking great!!! you should have full leaves in no time and your climate should be extremely favorable for plumeria.

Not sure what color it is, i forgot haha. I recently vacationed in Kauai and grabed a plumeria cutting from the airport!

What a wonderful keepsake from your vacation! Make sure the soil is well draining (such as potting soil + perlite) and lots of sun & your plumeria will be really happy! Now you have the surprise of seeing what color it will be too!

My plumeria looks like the pic from San Diego. Bought it at Honolulu swap meet stadium. It was been sitting in my window sill.
I am also a 1st timer. Should I leave it on
the window sill or place it outside?

minda47, in my limited experience of starting plumerias from unrooted cuttings I have found the single most detrimental effect on getting them started is movement. I would leave it on the window sill.
