Need help on kitchen layout?

This is my kitchen I'm going to remodel with all new medium maple shaker style cabinets and granite counter tops. I'm putting new cabinets on top and bottom where that plastic table is, and I'm adding a peninsula on the left side. I'm moving my fridge where the stove is but as far to the right possible. I'm not sure if I should just push the stove to the right and have them both on that wall to have the right wall where the table is only counter space? Or should I place the stove on the right wall where the microwave is?

HI -- Could you please post more pictures of the other walls and a sketch of the floor plan and a measurement of the walls and room ,.... Thanks PS: Can the plumbing for the sink be moved ?

Move the fridge to the opposite wall, put a tall pantry to the right at the end of the wall then base and upper cabinets into the corner, micro can go in the upper cabinet before turning the corner turn the corner, leave enough counter space on each side of range. Add an island. there I just spent additional 10K.:)

Aggie, 10K? Remind me not to call you when I remodel!!! In the next century, of course.

It will be nice, but it will cost ya! ;)

I agree with Bobbi on moving the stove and be sure to be able to open the refrigerator door enough to get the drawers out. I like Aggie's island idea too. But, be sure that the sink, refrig and stove is accessible in the "triangle" without having to walk around the island. How annoying that would be.

I don't doubt that it would be nice! I honestly can say I love my kitchen, and if I were to get new cabinets/appliances I wouldn't change the layout at all.

Be sure to get a range hood that is stainless with a chimney = they look soo nice. I love the flat top range with cabinets under and then the oven and microwave with the microwave on top. If you possibly can order a trash compactor. They honestly dont cost that much b/c they last for yrs. Are cleaner than a trash can or bin, you dont have to empty as often and you actually use reg garbage bags in them; you do not have to purchase trash compactor bags. I would definitely leave the sink under the window; if you have to do dishes you deserve a view.

Oooh, no, not the dreaded microwave/hood!!! Had one, hated it. I'd like a microwave in the drawer thingy, tho....

Carolina sooo right about the trash compacter. You will love it.

@lefty47 the walls aren't that big the one to the right by the microwave is 7 1/2 ft ...were the stove is its 9ft from the door to the right wall..and the sink wall is 10 1/2 ft. We're gonna keep the sink were it is to minimize the cost of the remodel.

@Bobbi thanks or ur input and ill double ck on leaving room to open fridge. I think I'm liking the stove on the right wall also..

@Aggie that was my first choice to move the fridge to the right wall so I could add a peninsula were the fridge is right now...a contract told me to move the fridge were the stove is because with the peninsula and the fridge the space to walk thru will be to tight and I won't be able to show off my kitchen as much (lol) because of the fridge popping out so much. I am going to get a tall pantry on the right of the dishwasher. I will get all new appliance eventually but for now I'm only getting a new dishwasher and under cabinet vent. As for the island I thought of that at first but after measuring well the island would be really small nd I feel it would get in my way..but itch the peninsula I would be getting so much more counter space and that's what I'm going for as u can see I don't have lots to work with now. Lol
