I was outside cleaning up and taking photos of the plumerias that I'm about to sell and look what I found!

I planted this cutting since Fall of 2012!! I think it was either Oct or November. So this Nebel's Gold probably holds the record for a cutting that took the longest to root! Sheesh!

It's about time! You can practically have a human baby in that same amount of time. LOL.

So of the 3 cuttings I received from a dear friend... one passed away in January. This one rooted and the 3rd is neither dead nor rooted. So I guess only time will tell. Hopefully it will decide to root and not die for I really love that plant.

But for now I finally can say I rooted one! Please, no one gift me any more cuttings. Too stressful! :)

Awesome! My Lurline must have the record for longest to root. When I got it on summer of 2011 it had a few scrawny roots. I dug it up in October of 2012 and it still had very few roots. I thought it was dead, now it's putting out tiny claws, still no roots. I prick it and no latex flows. I have no clue what it is doing. I was about to throw it away when I thought I saw a tiny hair like root so I left it laying in mulch in the garage. Now the tiny claws... I just do not know what to do with her. I put it in a bag with some soil and set her on the top of the water heater. Sheesh.... I wish she would just either grow or die. I know that sounds horrible but I am tired of messing with her but can't bare to discard her as long as she shows some sign of life. :(

Powderpuff you win! Lol. I am just glad I rooted one all by myself so I can move on with my life.
