First timer

Hello all, I receiving my first Plumie in the next few days and I have all the soil prepd and ready to go, my question is since its a rooted cutting when I go to pot her up will I need to water her right away or how long should I wait to start my watering after transplanting. Thanks- Evie

Congrats!! and welcome.

Water it right away. I usually water very generously to let the soil mix get all settled in and the air pockets out. Also youll be tempted to put right out in the hot sun but you need to slowly acclimate it to your weather. Typically a week in the shade, then a week in part sun, then out in full sun.

Mike I purchased a white bridal from Ebay, It was cheap enough for a first try so I took the plumie plunge lol. I have many other tropicals but never owned a plumie. I'm hoping the potting soil I have mixed will be good enough for her. I have it mixed like this, I have organic soil, reg, miricale grow potting soil, sand, coco nut fiber pieces and I even got perlite mixed in. I also have small rocks if needed for drainage. What do you think? Will this work?
