This is a newel post that was milled locally. We painted it a deep charcoal/gray/blue to bring out the deep tones in the stair runner and the framed photos.

Would you mind putting me in touch with the local mill? I'd like to have them make a few newel posts for me. Great job,
We live in Pa having said that I am looking at a mill in California to do same. Your local place may be a better option, thanks a bunch!
