No idea but my C sunset can be all yellow in cool temps and brilliant red/orange when hot.

My understanding from JJ's website is that's it's a "new generation" CS. A new seedling from CS maybe? Hopefully someone who knows more will chime in :)

Thanks moonie. We had a lot of rain today. Bad for the the areas affected but great for our drought recovery.

Oh great so now all of us with the original CS are left out to dry. LoL. I feel like I just got a new iphone and there a new one coming out in a month. hahaha.

Check out Sonia Carvalho FB page, she had CS3 last season for sell. John also has them for sale, but Sonia might sell you a cutting for less then what the plant would be.

I am happy to say that I ordered one and received it last week!!! I was originally going to get Tiger, but with the stunning colors and compact growth habit, I was sold! It is a 3 tip and I put it in an area on my back patio that gets sun part of the day but not all day so it can acclimate and start growing its leaves. I'm REALLY excited about this one!

CS3 is a second generation California Sunset seedling with amazing shading in the flower! Sort of CS and Jeanne Moragne combo. It is the most dense and semi-compact of John's plumeria. I just keep it protected from the mid-day, early afternoon sun 'cause our rays are getting fierce down here!! This is really a beautiful plumeria and an easy keeper.

CS3 is a seedlig of California Sunset, which was a seedling of Penang Peach

If u lucky u can find it at Home Depot or lowes
