Wow Kenny! Wildfire is one I would love to add someday and I have heard a lot of good things about Black Ruby. I cannot wait to see pictures of both blooming!

Ah well, life's for living! Hope to see your blooms, when they appear, love seeing other people's results with newer cultivars before I make up my mind about whether to try them, myself...

I have a couple of Wildfires but they haven't bloomed for me yet. The tips are still small so I don't know if they will flower this year. I heard Wildfire is a good one to have. I hope you're feeling better on your recovery. When I saw Black Ruby last summer, I knew I just gotta have it. What good things have you heard about it? I just love red plumerias and when I learned it's a compact grower, that makes me want it even more!

I think you may be right. Between JJ plants at Southwood this month and the PSA sales in Houston next month, I think I'm doomed. Matt actually has one of my JL cuttings rooting since July of last year. He said it might have rooted now (10 months!) but he wants to make sure there's a full set of leaves before he sends it to me. There are 2 more JL plants that he'll be sending as well but these have been paid for long ago so I guess they don't count toward this year's budget. ;)

To make matters worse, I received a list of JL rooted cuttings (from JL Nursery) available for me to order and some even have inflos!! I'm exercising some extreme self-control right now! Who knows, maybe I'll crack before I'll the season even starts lol.

Thanks Emily and Jen, I hope these will flourish under my care. I got a deal on Black Ruby before their online plumeria website started so the 3-tip they sent was almost the same price as an unrooted cutting.

After getting good feedback about Hawaiian Fire, I went ahead and reserved mine in January. When I got the email last week, I was told Jim had sent me a nice big Hawaiian Fire cutting he had rooted a year ago. Yep I was super excited I got a well established one.

I almost got tempted with rooted Metallica and Purple Rain (with inflos) ;) Their new online store is dangerous as well, I need to stay away from it with all my might.

Yes I was told these are ready to come home with me and getting into their pots. I have several JL plants and they always bloom true to their colors. Our heat here is pretty intense in the summer months. I hope I'll be able to share bloom pics in the near future ;)
