Mold on leaves??

Anyone know what this is? Unfortunately I don't know what this plant is. The previous owner tells me that it will have purple flowers as blooms, and it was grown in his backyard in the Mission in San Francisco. The leaves are plump and soft and fuzzy. After I brought it home it started getting these little patches that look like white mold.

It was near some outdoor plants that had been brought over from the park which died and have since thrown away, so maybe it picked something up from those plants?

The beginning of powdery mildew.....if not controlled, it will spread

agree ... many organic solutions.. or chemical ...

looks like one of the herbs to me .. any smell to a crushed leaf???

Powdery mildew looks and acts a lot like talcum powder on leaves. does this easily brush off? Look anything like these Mint images?

WHen I crushed a leaf it smelled pine-like. Nice smell. I've cut off the leaves that had that powder, pulled out the additional plants at we're growing in the pot in cases they were infected too, sprayed it with a baking soda+water mix and put it outside. I guess we'll see how it fares... Thanks all!
