I'm glad it's raining for a lot of us. We're absolutely flooded. I haven't seen this much rainfall in quiet a while. Nearest mesonet cannot be any where close. I need a rain gauge.

My front yard is a lake and it is still raining.

So glad y'all are getting rain. We are supposed to get some today or tomorrow.

My front and back yard is a lake and the rain gage said 4 3/4" this am.

We got 4.8" in 24 hours on top of almost an inch from a couple days ago. It's been one of the rainiest summers in years for us. Sure hope those folks who haven't had much rain this summer are getting a good soaking too.

I got 5 plus inches almost to the top of my rain gauge and I have a purple toe. I went to the basement and slipped as I stepped off the stairs. Now I have a wet basement and a sore toe.

We had a empty deep plastic dish pan in the garden and it was running over this morning. We got rain for many hours before any was reported on the Mesonet because our station is several miles south of us. The news tonight said we had 7.4 inches. It looked like a lake this morning but the ground seemed to take most of it during the day.

So far our total for the week is 7.5 inches. Most of it soaked in. The only place any can run off is down our slightly sloped driveway.
