I've found quite a few of these bugs in the last day - running all over my master bath sink. They look exactly like gnats or maybe even smaller, but don't fly, and are far far away from any houseplants. They run round and zig zag a lot. They are easily killed squashing them with a tissue. Any guesses?

If I knew what they are I might be able to figure out where they are coming from...

Update - two pairs of magnifying glasses revealed they are some kind of very tiny ant. Time to get out the ant spray!
