Looks like some type of aphid. Wash them off with a strong stream of water applied upward from the bottom. Love fried okra!

Yes, quite a colony of aphids...adults, babies, parasitized aphids, aphid pelts laying around, etc. Get that hose out and spray them off. Keep after them for a few days and you'll have the population under control. Strong streams of water applied with the purpose of washing them off is a much more effective method of control than anything else I can think of.

A spray bottle of water would probably be better then the garden hose simply because the water pressure from the hose can seriously damage the plants if due care is not used when spraying the Aphids off.
Aphids have developed immunities to some "pesticides" which may help explain why yours did nothing, or possibly the pesticide did not reach them since they are on the underside of the leaf. Our grandparents use of soapy water for insect pest control (keep in mind our grandparents used real soap not the detergents we have available today which do not do the same thing) may well be something to think about.

Thank you everyone for your help. I haven't seen more though I've been checking daily. I'm going to go with the dawn soap and water spray, since I don't have a spray hose. I'm praying that my crops aren't ruined. :( Thanks again for the speedy responses!

Dawn is a detergent not a soap and is not very effective as an insecticide. Detergents are also much more harmful to plants than they are to insect pests.
Mel Batholomew waters his gardens with buckets full of water, not a hose.

Insecticide soap is the best and safe. Buy at local hardware store.
