2 green malayans dwarfs from Sanibel Island FL

Welcome to the forum! Your coconut palm looks awesome. I started mine at about the same size and from a similar area (Miami, FL). They aren't the easiest palms to grow out of the tropics, but I've had it for over years and it's still going strong. It might be my oldest potted palm and it's still in it's original pot. They get a bad rep for being difficult but as long as they get some outdoor time whenever the weather is nice and warm, they usually are fine. Looks like a nice and bright window which helps a lot too!

Nice coco! Where at in cali? In the central valley they do very well outside during warmer weather as long as they are watered. They do not require humidity to do well but will appreciate a misting once every so often to keep spider mites away. Just make sure that while your palm is inside to not water very much at all. When temps are cool they can get root rot in moist soil.

They all did pretty well indoors during the winter!They did got a little something on the older leaves from maybe low humidity?Other than that, they breeze through!

They look like they're doing well, nice shade of green.

Great stuff! I have started growing a coconut palm here in New Zealand that I got from a dehusked coconut at the store, it has put out a root which is exciting. I'm aiming for fruit in 6 years time haha :)

Ouch! A update of one of my coconuts...down to one spear due to sunburn!

The fronds were scorched that bad? Sometimes even when they yellow up from sunburn if you give them some shade they green up some. If its still warm outside you should put it back out but in a shady location. Hopefully by winter time it has picked up another frond or at least opened that spear.
