Small, whitish, or tannish, colored moths probably are the adult stage of sod webworms, usually not much of a problem in a good, healthy turf. Webworms do not always make those webs and may not need any control if there is little or no visible damage to the lawn.

keoghcl, you can confirm froghoppers by looking closely into the turf/thatch layer. The nymphs are protected in a frothy fluid - aptly referred to as spittle.
