Yep this is a new purchase so a blank slate. Really like the recommendation thanks very much Amy! Curious how to incorporate both?

If you want to put the Peppercorn on the focal wall with the art work and the Light French Grey on the other walls. It looks doable in your space. You have great taste in furnishings. I would also suggest something warm and organic for balance. Perhaps a rustic modern wood cocktail table with gray wash.

I think you should consider changing the furniture layout. Make the fireplace the center of attention. Don't worry about where the walls are. Your sofas can float on either side of the fireplace. You'll want the edge of your rug to line up with the hearth. Might want to add another light weight chair.
