K, sorry to possibly disappoint but the one I gave you is a Kimi not a Katie. Kimi is still a great one. My broken Katie from this year is growing branches from the main part and the small tip has neither rooted nor rotted - I consider that still in the game!

Check out the difference in color in Katie Moragne with Texas heat. The red is like velvet, hard to capture.
