I'm unfamiliar with them, from looks and name I am to assume they are a variation of cayennes. The peppers are looking great! When did you start them?

On a side not too, that's some really sandy soil you have there... Where are you located?

Your right Jay that is cayenne I just hit what poped up in the auto spell and didn't look to see if it was right. I live in eastern Washington and the soil is dusty not sandy. I took this photo Thursday morning then spent all weekend digging them up and putting them in five gallon buckets with potting soil. I have had very little plant growth. I have pods but not many. And only a couple of plants that I would say doing well. The soil around them was packed Im guessing from watering and the root ball very small. All ready they look greener and perked up.

What they were in (your ground soil) looks to be extremely dense. I'm sure they'll appreciate the buckets with a lighter (potting) mix.
