Since I have had Praying Mantids in my garden following a winter with temperature below zero for many days I doubt that placing the egg cases in a freezer would be of much benefit, the eggs and larva probably would survive. Many years ago when I was given some of these egg cases I was told to keep them in the freezer to keep them from hatching too early.
Mantids are pretty passive so I cannot think they would be considered invasive, although the European and Chinese Mantids are considered somewhat invasive because they are introduced, not native.
Possibly dunking the egg cases into boiling water might work.

I think u should just leave them be. How horrible to kill as all those potential new baby mantises! They are beneficial and nature put them here for a reason. Just move the egg case elsewhere if you don't want it in your garden. Like a mile away I mean. Really, why kill it??? Please don't!
