the flowers look like peppers but I dont recognize the leaves, but then I have only 25 varieties and there are thousands Ive never seen, I certainly would just wait and see, from the looks of some of those flowers, it shouldnt take more than a couple of days to see what they will produce, good luck!

What ever comes out of those flowers I'm eating it! This ones got me baffled. Someone's got to know.

Interesting...I've never seen a pepper with a serrated leaf-margin.
Hopefully one of the other growers will recognize it (if it's a pepper).

Hot peppers don't have serrated leaves. That's either a weed or some kind of berry, maybe wonderberry. Wonderberry has little white, downcast flowers like peppers do. The longish stems on your flowers and buds also suggests berries to me.

Ultimately, if all you want are peppers, chuck it. If you want to try for berries, let it ride. If it's just a weed, well... it'll be a very healthy, happy weed.

It is a close cousin, or I guess you could say siblnig, of peppers. They are from the same family, Solanaceae, but that is a Nightshade. Only eat the fruit if you plan on taking a trip to the hospital because they can kill you. Certain types can be eaten for medicinal purposes when ripe, but I cannot tell you what ones and all contain a chemical that is highly toxic to humans. So just don't eat them. They make very beautiful landscape plants though.

looks like a tomatillo seedling to me, although mine have had yellow flowers in the past i believe.

Jerusalem Cherries come in several varieties.
I got one called Persimmons Ornamental one year.
The person thaught it was a Pepper variety that was poison...

I pulled it! After looking around my yard I found it popping up all over.

That plant looks very similar to mine.....

My son talked me into purchasing some seeds off ebay for 99 uk pence,these seeds

Were meant to be caroline reaper seeds.

When the plant started to establish it had jagged leaves.

When the flowers appeared they were clumped and started to produce berrys.

These were green to start off but then started to turn black,these didnt look to me like

chillies.

I then decided to look on the net for this plant and hey presto.

DEADLY KNIGHTSHADE.

What person in their right mind would sell these...
