Something's digging! Sarasota FL

This hole is next to an A/C condenser slab adjacent to our house - the white pipe you see it the condensation drain line. The actual hole seems to go down to about the size of a very large fist - maybe a little bigger and when we filled it up with dirt, something dug right out again.

We suspect it might be an armadillo, but not sure. Any ideas? Whatever it is we need to make it go somewhere else. Any ideas on this? Thanks in advance...

Use a havahart trap.

Live trapping is one way of maybe eliminating the problem, but then what do you do with what you trapped? Florida, like most other states, requires anyone transporting live wildlife to be licensed.
Look for a licensed person to set a trap and move whatever you have digging there. Much less hassle all around, and they will know where to take the trapped animal.

I'm a bit further north, but we've been experiencing an EXPLOSION in the local chipmunk population! I've noticed a burrow identical to the one in your photo on the back of my detached garage.
