It appears to be a Sago, Altho I am not 100% sure. The leaves look a bit different than a sago but the base does.

Dioon spinulosum

I have one. Its grown slow in part shade...but does show a nice blue green color. I should put it in a pot in more sun though. It actually grew faster potted.

Thanks for the input. I think D. spinulosum looks to be the correct ID. They have only been in the ground for 4 months so I'm looking forward to seeing how fast they grow since from what I'm reading, they tend to be fast growers. They are both in full sun with a western exposure (mid-day to afternoon sun.)

I have one, just about the same size. Everything I read says slow growth rate? Also, not full sun. LB

Spinulosum for sure. They should be a nice green color not burnt out washed out looking. Shading will give you that color. They do grow a bit faster than some other cycads. They flush twice a year like most cycads, but since they still eventually have stems about 40 feet tall, they get larger, faster. That plant could get 7 feet tall in about 3 or 4 years here in Florida.
