This palm lives in swamps in nature⦠hard to believe it could be overwatered, particularly if growing in the ground in Hawaii where the soil drains nearly instantly. But if watered with tap water from above (on the crown) this one is very likely to develop bud rot so avoid that (do you have tap water in Hawaii??)

The Palm is in a pot not the ground and I use tap water. It's been in the same location for over a year now. Thanks
