What a great site. I think the best thing that I just realized is that this is what kind of gardner I am!!! I have a greenhouse and grow vegetables (on a hill) but do like a few herbs and flowers mixed in. When people ask about my garden I always say well I am mainly into things I can eat!! I mainly garden in raised beds built into the side of a hill and raised beds actually cut into the hill (pics to come this summer!!! Best wishes and happy growing-Rena

Thank you everyone. It has been a landscaper challege to grow on a hill but with each year I do add more garden space LOL. I used to spend most of my time at the tomato forum but I like the feel over here!! If anyone is interested in OP tomatoes and would like to try some free email me I would be happy to share.-Rena

Hi Rena,

I just came across this post and I too have my veggies on a slope. I just started last year and my bed is very simple; no raised beds yet, just moved clay and good soil put in its place. I have a huge slope (both in size and steepness) and would love to see your pictures!
