The Toadflax which is a noxious weed in many places is called Dalmation Toadflax...it is a noxious weed where I live. Brought over as a ornamental.
I believe the toadflax you are referring to is called Linaria maroccana...I grow this one, tho not in my wildflower area. It has bi-colored flowers and I have a type that is solid white. Flowers resemble small versions of snapdragon flowers. These also get the common name Toadflax or Snapdragon.

boy just not my night LOL...also forgot to say that Linaria maroccana is a non-native and is from Moracco. They are annuals and will self-sow for next year.
I love the way they glow at dusk and in the moonlight..and therefore I have them in my Moon Garden. Grow best in mass.

The other toadflax that is a noxious weed is Yellow toadflax (Linaria vulgaris).
