Hi Mike, That is normal, the lower leaves as they get older turn yellow then brown and fall off. I do water about every 5 days since the weather has been warmer but it has nothing to do with the leaves. Barb

I just seems as though all of my plants are doing the same thing, as though winter was here and they were going into hibernation.
So, do you think I should water a bit more frequently?

Hi Mike, The smaller pots dry out so fast and then some of the flowers seem to need a drink of water. I always seem to water about every 5 to 6 days in the summer unless we really get some hot weather and then twice a week. Bigger pots seem to do better. Just what I do. I think that you have to go by checking what is dry and go from there. Here is a new picture of some of my yard taken today. Barb

I would stick a chopstick in the pot or something and see if the soil is still wet at all and if not then I would water maybe twice a week.

I do agree with barb that it's normal for the lower leaves to yellow and fall off, some of mine are doing that too. I'm in Texas and I water 2-3 times a week. But everyone's climate is different & yours may need more or less than that.

Beautiful yard indeed! Does look like a nursery, too, with all the black containers! 8-))

My new plants are getting soft trunks and branches. Is that lack of water? I don't seem to have any yellow leaves. They did both blow over last week. I guess I have killed yet another couple of Plumerias!

I would start off with a good deep watering and go from there. If its still looking healthy and no sign of rot could just be lack of water. good luck!
