How to propagate banyan fig. from aerial roots cutting?

i grow banyan seeds to turn it bonsai later, but i had a thought if i can grow tree from from this aerial it will be faster and beautiful because cutting may save me time for training bonsai .. as you see in the pic. this is the cutting i got, can anyone help me how to prepare and plant it with tips?
its red and i don't know if it is dead or something
i grow indoors with water or soil and i don't have rooting powder or any like it and i can't get one because i live in Egypt in city

First, welcome to the Propagation Forum. But next, posting links to a commercial blog (which yours seems to be) is against GardenWeb's TOS. If you missed that rule when you signed up, you may want to go back and review those documents.

I have no personal experience with propagating the tree in question and I doubt many forum members do either. I would recommend a Google search using the proper scientific name. Assuming you have Ficus benghalensis, which is the species most commonly referred to as banyan fig, I'd review the search results at the link below. You could also try variations, but I think you'll find lots of info that way.
