Take a 5-6 inch terminal cutting in june/july.... apply 0.3% IBA (rooting hormone)stick in well drained soil & mist time to produce a 1 gal plant = 1 year.

I have a Mojito mint, a Margarita mint, a Peppermint, a Spearmint and a Vicks plant; which, I have been told is a mint. Can they all be propagated thru soft stem cuttings?

All mint cuttings are very easy to root but you might want to start a new thread with mint in the subject line.

The terminal is the end of anything. For a branch the terminal end by mid summer has hardened somewhat from the early spring growth and is better able to grow roots. Al

Plant any mint in containers, not in your flower beds because if you plant them in the flowerbeds, there are next to impossible to ever get rid of.
