Yes, "So You Want To Start a Nursery" by Tony Advent is very good. I got mine at amazon.com. He touches on every aspect...from liner nursery to wholesale, re-wholesale, retail, garden center and mail-order nursery. There is more emphasis on mail-order because that is what he does...and propagating (they develop new plants at Plant Delights). Anyways...lots of info and business advice.

Also, "Make Money Growing Plants, Trees & Flowers", by Francis X. Jozwik, Ph.D. I got mine for a couple bucks off amazon.com. I found this book covered more of what I wanted. He discusses greenhouse and outdoor growing. Later I will probably get his other book "The Greenhouse and Nursery Handbook" which runs about $50.

I also liked "Secrets to a Successful Greenhouse and Business" by T.M. Taylor. Leans more toward organic or hydroponic growing but covers everything else too. All the books stress the business and marketing side and cover the growing side. Lots of resources and reference stuff too.

All these books may help you think it all out.
