Hi Peg, I'm no expert on grafting, but I would say that doesn't look very good.
Maybe you can contact Florida Colors and get some advice from them.
I just got two grafts from them and I'm hoping they work out.
Here is a photo of what they look like and both sections seem alright so far.

Dave is right, i love florida colors...Luc and Carol are wonderful people and will give you great advice...

They may even have you send it to them to see if they can help you save it ..

Its worth a call to them!

Thanks Dave and Laura. I did contact the seller and he said he'd replace it if it didn't do well. I was having trouble trying to post pic (thanks Laura) so that was taken 13 days ago. It is growing claws so maybe it will be ok. I guess it will heal over after it grows. I will remember Florida Colors. Thanks again. Peg
