Mardi Gras is forming another seed pod

I just got back from the coast, today I noticed that Mardi gras is forming a new baby seed pod. It was not there Wed when I fed the plants. I was so surprised. I just mailed out the seeds from the pod that it formed last year. I really do believe those seeds from this year, will turn out to be something spectacular. The parents are Mardi Gras and Makaha Sunn. I bought Mardi Gras seedlings 2 years ago from Larry in La Porte, the 2nd one bloomed this week, it has the best fragrance, gardenia, I think it is the best smelling plant I own. Large yellow with pink/ lavender edge. Definitely a keeper. I will post the picture of it next week. Barbra

That's great Barbra. 6 of the mardi gras seeds I got from you are forming their 2nd set of leaves. I have great hope for something special from them.

Mike those are the ones that the parents are Mardi Gras and Makaha Sunn. I can't wait until you post pictures of those plants. I think something great is going to come out of those seeds. Next year, I will mail out the seeds again, I hope to have a lot more seeds to send out. Rebecca thank you for the nice note you sent. Barbra .

Aw, that's great news, Barbra! The baby, I mean, more than the seeds, lol.

We missed you yesterday, but K has a plant for you. I hadn't realized you wouldn't be there and brought it down. Try it out, I think it won't give you trouble because it's been great for me.

Jen, I was planning on coming to the meeting, that is why I did not send you an email saying I wasn't coming. We planned on leaving Saturday, so I could go. We got a call from our neighbor early Sat morning telling Gary that water was coming out from under our garage doors. There was not time to pack, so I told him to just go, he was suppost to take two of our dogs, but he just left without them. I told him I would find a ride home. I got a ride home yesterday afternoon. I rode in the backseat with 4 dogs, one a yellow lab.It was not bad, my 3 dogs slept on my lab the entire trip back, I think there were scared to death to move.
