Now is a good time for under mist, or stick them in pots, cover with a plastic bag or soda bottle and keep indoors under lights. It would be pretty hot out of doors unless you can put them under mist. I have just potted up several that were under mist, but have done them indoors as late as end of October. I have to winter them over in my greenhouse here in zone 6...you would have to ask someone in your zone how to handle the newly rooted cuttings down there. I suspect they would root if dormant cuttings were stuck out of doors in your zone.
