Take cuttings of firm new growth apply 0.1% IBA (Rooting Hormone) stick in well drained soil & mist taking 15-40 days to root.

use any kind that is soiless. i always use staygreen, alot of people like to use promix. some use sand. but keep it damp and don't forget to mist!! :') good Luck!!! water method just rots them, i learned this also! thanks to george! also the baggie method works too. you can place a baggie over the top to hold the moisture in. that helps alot if your in airconditioning. make sure to let it breath though. LOL ~Medo

I have rooted them in both potting soil and water. The water method was purely an accident as I was cutting back to bring in for the winter. Could not bear to throw those long runners away so I stuck them in a bucket of water and set them aside. I was very surprised the following spring when I was moving plants out and found the bucket. Several of the runners had good roots on them and did well when I potted them up. Don't know if it would happen again but it did that once.
