i need to fill in a lot of planting space in my yard next spring. So i will have a lot of cuttings to do over the winter.

Most plants will be for my zone, a few for zone 8.

The problem is, I only have space for 72 cuttings under my lights in the basement. I counted about 100+ places that I could plant out in my yard.

Once the roots fill up a 4 inch band pot, can the cutting go outside directly into my coldframe?
