Plumeria has light-colored spots on Axils

Hi Everyone!

This is my first plumeria plant and I'm very excited about it. I just got it a couple of months ago in the Redlands and keep it indoors with good sunlight in my office. I use a systemic that the garden shop in South Beach gave me. It hasn't bloomed yet, but overall, it seems to be a very happy plant.

On some of my plumie's leaves, I see these pencil eraser-sized light yellow/grey-colored "bumps" mostly along the axil. What are these things? Are they normal? Are they life-threatening to the plumie? How do I safely get rid of them? I attached a photo of the bumps to this message.

Advice is highly appreciated!
