When night temps get into the low 40s is when I take them in.

But you still have time to spray them down for bugs and maybe treat the soil for ants.

The more common varieties and old wood Plumerias stay outside or get covered when temps go into the 30s but the rare hybrids which I actually spent money on and "greenies" will go in the greenhouse when night temps are routinely in the low 40s

What do you use when you spray them down for bugs and is the same product for ants?

Thanks guys looks like I'm good until early fall. They're hardier than my bromeliads for sure.

Since I do not bring them inside I am not so concerned about anything but spider mites during the off season. I have typically just used the 3in1 type of product or neem oil to spray them. As much as I can I also let the leaves fall off naturally.

Do you have to heat your greenhouse @ night? Also do you ever have problems with black tip from the humidity?

I will place a 1500 watt electric heater out there for those rare cold snaps. Only way to power it is the same GFCI as my landscape lighting so I have to take those transformers down and if its Christmas some of the Christmas lights too so it turns into a hassle...but safety first :). Sometimes I will use a large fan on low setting to keep the cold air from settling in.

Normally its open and vented by the doors and zipper vents. If there is cold weather predicted I will close it up to contain as much daylight heat as possible. Not had issues with black tip in the greenhouse. I have gotten black tip on the usual suspects after coming out of the greenhouse. I do preemptively use a Neem oil spray on the tips. Perhaps that helps reduce the instance of fungus.

If the greenhouse is fully buttoned up for anything more than a day due to cold I get a lot of condensation on the inside walls even with the fan. Only thing that prevents it is keeping some vents open which isn't always an option.
