I am new to this forum and to gardening in general. I have a 1946 home that has a walkway that was lined with Tree Roses. We also have bush roses (Iceberg, I believe) along the foundation of the house. We have since removed the Tree Roses and now have empty flower beds along our walkway. I'd like to plant new things in the flower beds but have NO IDEA what to do! I would also like to keep in the time period of the home. I have pictures that I can email in case those would help but I would greatly appreciate any ideas and input you may have. And my house is West-facing. Thanks everyone!
