Here is a good site for tree peony care; accurate information and it saves me typing it out! I have 5 tree peonies. They are basically easy to grow. The blooms last longer in an afternoon shade or dappled shade position. A spectacular plant for little effort. Be sure to read about the different planting methods for container vs bareroot plants, though.

Not sure what plant you are referring to when you say "orange blossom bush". Do you have a botanical Latin name you could give also?

That wass a wonderful site to visit, Ginger. And I am glad it is in England, because I was smitten by peony Minuet. And it was listed as 100 pounds! Yikes. I have killed 2 tree peonies. I do have a very pretty regular one that comes up from the root stock even though the tree one has been gone for years.
