I have not received her end to my trade either!!! I sent out a Medium sized Priority box because we had a firm agreement, we had exchanged several emails . I sent pics of what I was sending to get her OK before I even packaged them up! Then, I put in even MORE than that!!!

I was in the process of arranging a trade with her and sending some irises and rose cuttings to her address in London, KY when I found this. Several days elapsed from the time that I sent my last email to her response that I received last night.

She said that she had been in the hospital for several days due to complications from diabetes. She said that she had asked her daughter to send the trades out while she was in the hospital but just found out that this had not been done. She said that she needed to "make amends", which I interpreted as meaning that she would be sending out her trades to all of you. I do hope that this is true, for everyone's sake.

I also emailed Her and had arranged a trade but wasn't about to send $300 worth of Daylilies until she sent her end first. I checked the Rave and Reviews and she had nothing here and had just joined GW. She promised that she would send first but guess what-she never did. So glad
I told her no way I am sending with out receiving first. So sorry you ladies did not get anything in return.

I also received a request from her. Started getting plants ready and decided to check Rate & Review first. Glad I did. Have not heard from her again. Hope not too many people got taken in by her.

I just saw this post, which has piqued my curiosity. I live in Barbourville, Ky., a very small town, thought I was the only GW member here. Barbourville is about 40 miles from London. When I searched GW for members in my zip code, which includes all of B'ville, none show up.
I sure hope this is not someone I have allowed to come and dig plants in my garden.

I have just seen this post. I needed to see it sooner!! This woman has done a bad thing. I have been trading daylilies for several years and never had this to happen. I sent her 26 different daylilies at my expense of over $17. The package went to London, KY. My package did not arrive. I sent her mail and she replied with the same thing as john__c said in his post about the hospital. That she would check tracking #. I have repeatedly sent mail, she does not reply. I have always trusted traders and she is the first to do this to me. People like her, will make more than me to be hesitate to trade. I sure do hope others see this post about LoveMyDirt900. I know that I will remember her name and state!! And I will tell as many as I can about what she has done!!

I am so sorry she got you too . . . Did you send to Barboursville or London, KY? She's given out 2 addresses. This is my first time being burned too, but I've only been trading for about 5 months. I'm definitely going to be more careful next time!

I sent to London, KY. I have made trades with many good folks for at least 10 years at different sites. This is the first time that this has happened to me. One thing for sure, if a name post wanting to trade that is not one that I have seen often, they will have to send me plants before I send any to them. I am sorry that you and others got ripped off by her.

I have received mail from Ann this week. She said that she has been sick and that all packages for trades will be shipped. She said mine would be shipped on Thursday. She has posted at the Plant Exchange on her first post --Have Daylilies, Iris, Peonies to trade.

Don't get your hopes up yet, I'm so sorry to say, but she's gotten our hopes up before. Erin08 and I discovered we have the same body to our emails, just a different name on top. In mine she says she "Just found out" - nope, sorry, she knew about it before and had emailed me and others about it!
"I have just seen the posts where you are looking for your packages."
She knew about this weeks ago!!! She told us the story of the daughter who was supposed to have mailed them, and she would "Get to the bottom of it." Yeah, that was weeks ago.
She said, "It has really opened my eyes to the fact that I should not be trading at this point in my life." If she's not a scammer, truer words have not been said.

Queen-Gardener, the mail said my plants would be dug and shipped on Thursday and that she would send a tracking # as soon as she got back from the post office. Today is Saturday and NOTHING from her. This is a month after I shipped her plants. After the dealings with this, I feel that if she does ship plants to me they probably will be ditch lilies. Her words of " should not be trading at this point in my life" is enough to tell me that she should not have started it and is trying to make excuses!!

Well--it has been a week and still no package or mail with tracking # from her. I replied to her mail that I understood about her illness but now my feelings are back to where they was about her. I think this woman got her some plants FREE!!! I wonder who planted all the plants since she was supposed to be in the hospital and so sick that it was about to get the best of her (her words).

Just found this post. She got me also! I sent her a box full of several clumps of daylilies. I have gotten the same emails as yall. Still nothing. It's very sad because I trade a LOT of plants on here and now she has ruined the trust thing.

jen, sorry that she got you too. I wonder how many more trusting people that sent her packages. Last word from her was that my plants would be dug and shipped on the 13th and that she would send tracking # as soon as she got back from the post office. Today is the 23rd, no package and back to her not answering mails. So disappointed that all of us have found out that there can be bad in trades.

Yes, she has done a horrible thing to us, and I'm sorry she got you too. I think from now on I'm going to do a small first trade with people I don't know and newbies.

It's too bad that one or two "bad apples" have to ruin it for everyone. As a newbie, when I started trading this year, I did not hesitate to send my trade first, and often sent way more/better plants than received from other newbies. I have learned that one has to be specific about what one is trading/expecting so communication is clear. I think you all were way too generous/nice and sorry it turned around and bit you. I can well understand your "once bitten, twice shy" response!

This woman still has not shipped her end of our fall 2014 trade. Now, got returned mail from her email. Her name is Ann Saunders. She used 2 different addresses--London and Barboursville, Kentucky. She said that she had inherited her mother in laws daylilies, iris and peonies in her post wanting to trade--BEWARE of her!!
