I inherited important plants that need saving

19 years ago

there is a very unruly hedge behind my house that has forsythia, annabelle hydrangea, hostas, vinca and I don't know what else. Where do i start and how? Can i fix it without hiring anyone? if you could take the time to see it in my blog, i will sincerely appreciate it
