Look like red habs. Hot enough to burn your butt.

Here's Sloan's Pepper Plant:

Where'd you buy them?

I got spammed by Seedrack.com on the same item....
ended up with Caribbean Reds instead.

Josh

Thank you for the help. I bought the seeds from Pepper Joe's. -sloan

I'm amazed at the people that can tell the difference between red habs and ghost peppers at a glance. Let's try a quiz. Tell me which of these are habs and which are ghosts:

Well you can't tell from the photos! You have to wait until the morning after eating them and look for the skull and crossbones in your. . . .well, use your imagination. Or you could just look at the third picture down ;)

Can you explain what's different about picture 3?

Pic 3 looks more like a Naga Morich than a Bhut, Nagas are close to same length as a hab, bhuts are quite a bit longer. Habs generally have smoother skin than the nagas and bhuts as well

Well, I contacted Pepper Joe, and he assures me that they are ghost peppers. Later in the summer the plant began to produce furiously and the peppers now look exactly like picture #5 above. Thoughts, anyone?

LOL, to the "bonus question": sure look like tabasco.

I think those pods are almost too red to be Tabasco.
Also, the tips of my Tabasco pods usually have a slight dimple.
