Ok, so our basement laundry/utility/storage room is dark, cold and horrible to be in. We're looking at selling our house in the next few years, so I don't want to do a massive overhaul. Right now it has some modular shelving on two of the walls, astroturf carpet on the floor and really no finished drywall. I'm trying to come up with ideas for cost-effective flooring mainly. The floor is uneven concrete and we've been in the house for 4 years with no water in the basement whatsoever. But this room does have a sump pump in it, so leveling the floors may be out of the question. If anyone has any suggestions that won't break the bank, I'd appreicate hearing them! :)
