I have recently had fun taking a collection of various odd and unusual soda bottles to start cuttings in the kitchen window. It looks nice most of the time and make use of the bottle collection. Some things root easily, some do not. What I have found odd though, is that some times they root and sometimes they rot, even with cuttings of the same plant. Some bottles are clear and some are dark, but I cannot see a clear pattern with that.
Does anyone have any ideas what may make the difference.
