Rose Exhibiting

ARS Rose Classification

FYI--When show schedules have a class for 1, 2, 3, etc. of "Old Garden Roses" (OGR), whats its actually calling for are those classes that originated prior to 1867. Looking at "ARS Official List" is a bit misleading, by naming a sub-header "OLD GARDEN ROSES". Schedule writers might note, OGRs originated prior to 1867.

That is good advice.

To avoid disqualified entries, we want to make sure that the class distinctions are clear.
