Three lined potatoe beetle

I have a very heavy infestation of the Threelined Potatoe Beetle larvae on my Tomatillos (hundreds of larvae, a few adults) They stripped one large plant nearly clean of leaves in two days.

These are the larvae:

The adults:

Yes this is a hot pepper forum, but my biggest concern is if it is at all possible they will transfer to peppers (or my tomatoes, eggplant or even mellon/squash?)

If I rip out the Tomatillos will the remaining ones that fall of the leaves, etc. have to settle for pepper? Is this possible?

What is the best (ideally organic method) control?

Thanks-

Al
