Yes, you can grow by seed, a seedpod takes 9 months to be ready and then you can get those little seeds growing. There are many ways to start the seeds. Here is a picture of some of the seeds I have started this year. I have also over 200 seedlings that are from 3 to 7 years old and some bloomed this year and others I am still waiting. But it is always a surprise to see the new flower. It is a lot of fun. Barb

My 2 year old 2 foot tall seedling finally bloomed for me after all the hard work I gave it. It is possible, slow going but yes possible. ;)

Much easier than adenium to grow from seed and they grow quicker. Also the added anticipation of not knowing exactly what bloom you will get. Try it, you will love it. I quit counting my seedlings some years ago and find it nearly impossible to cull the duds as many turn out to be.

I have one seed grown but wouldn't do it again b/c takes too long to flower. Mine is about 7 YO and no blooms. Much, much faster to root a cutting, which can bloom in as early as 24 mo from rooting
