Hello all - just joined - first post! I apologize if this is down in the list and I didn't come across it.

I purchased a big meaty cutting of Marino's Rainbow recently and had some fabulous roots in the bag after only 3 weeks. I then revamped my home made heating mat and the roots cooked for several days at 110 degrees or so. The roots in the bag turned gray/tan and shrunk in size. The claws are still coming out (but they slowed significantly after being on the griddle) and the stem is still nice and solid.

Should I open the bag and repot?

Or leave it and see if it bounces back?

If I do remove it from the bag, what would be the best way to restart it since it will most likely still have root nubs?

I only believe that because I have 4 others (Jeannie Moragne, Singapore, Royal Hawaiian and Nassau) that cooked as well. Those cuttings did not have roots showing in the bag. I replanted the Royal Hawaiian already and the stem was bumpy and the base had swelled significantly. Hopefully they recover and yes, I did fix the temperature issue... :)
