Wow, Beth, These are all just gorgeous,That Irish Hope has so many blooms,I don't know how the cane can hold them up.Gorgeous. I love Intrique, too,and I bet m ine will be a goner this spring. It has been eaten right down to the ground, in the last month or so..

Thanks Jean! Isn't that IRISH HOPE something? It does that every yr. That cluster was probably at about 6ft. I hope your INTRIGUE comes back! Those dang deer!!

I am glad to see the I roses! They are beautiful, but I have to say Irish Hope is spectacular. As always I like a glimpse of those other roses in the background, thank you for such a cheerful summery picture.

Enjoyed seeing Ice Cream. Have one coming in the spring. I hope thrips aren't a big problem here. Does Ice Cream have that problem in all weathers?

Keep the lovely photos coming. I'm really enjoying going through the alphabet with you.

Loved all your pics of of ICED GINGER at helpmefind.

Any comments about this rose? TIA

Thanks Masha! I like the shots with the other roses in the background too!!

Kate, I dunno about the rest of the country, but I got thrips bad all the time. I really hope I can get the time this yr to keep up with spraying, because I'm sick of brown edges on most of my roses!

Iris gal, ICED GINGER is one of my favorite roses, and probably one of my oldest ones too. It grows to about 6ft tall, and around 4ft wide, and blooms like crazy in the spring, with decent repeat a couple more times if you prune it pretty well. I love the color variations and the really cool veinings on it. I highly recommend it!

    Incredible I's.

Irish Hope sure is giving you an eyeful of roses, wow. He looks well fed and happy.

Thanks Beth. Always looking for a good "orange" that will combine nicely and this looks like a candidate.

Beth, beautiful "I" roses! I love the photo of Intrigue. It makes me also a little sad that I left mine behind in my old garden... Iced Ginger looks also very intriguing to me, but that cluster of Irish Hope is really amazing. What a vigorous rose!

    Thanks for posting!
