Kim, this has been on my wish list....what is the scent? Laura is the one that said it is one of the great classics.... roxanne

To me it smells like a sweet floral scent. I didn't detect any grape scent like some people has said. The scent isn't over powering but you can tell its there when you stick your nose close to the flower. It might be more detectable once I get more open or if the bloom ages -- you never know. ;)

This is a really classy looking flower and one of my favorites. Mine bloomed all summer and is still going strong.

so this is in the same classics as Vera Cruz rose...mine has been going off all summer and is still doing well and pushing more blooms. Great holding power and texture and oh wow the scent! roxanne

What a nice bloom! Nice pictures, as well. Do you have the whole plant wrapped in a tin foil cocoon with the light inside? I probably should do something similar. My neighbors must be suspicious because I have a lot of light shining OUT my window at night... :)

JeffreyJoe - No just the top portion. I tapped reynolds wrap to my light fixture and stapled small pieces of it to extend it outwards so the light could reflect off of it instead of scattering about the room (basically trying to keep the light source close and near my inflo).

I'm sure mine wonders what I do sometimes too. I went outside at 1:30am to spray neem oil on them b/c I forgot it was going to rain later that day so I could bring them in for the winter. LOL
