Well, winter hardiness may play an issue in your zone. Will they be in ground or overwintered elsewhere?

My Mini Rose will be planted in a garden bed or may be wintered in my garage.
I am not sure which right now I have a combination of both with other rose.
I may also store inside with lights.
I do not have any Mini's right now and want to start buying some.

But don't bother trying to grow them under lights. I know some folks have success, but I never did. I had problems with leggyness and spider mites. Minis are pretty hardy. I have several up in my WI garden and I don't cover them with much in the fall. Yes, they'll have some die back in the spring, but they are on their own roots so they bounce back in the spring.
