In z. 9 in buckets, some good singles

Simon Robinson is a good one-blooming like a maniac.

Blue Mist and Mr. Bluebird also very good (but they look an awful lot alike. Are they related?)

Tiny Tears is tiny, but its bloom is twice the size of Hi. Nice if you wanted a graduated planting of pink singles; Simon Robinson, then Tiny Tears, then Hi.

My Tiny Petals single purchase (and they, too, have closed. Alas.) Grace Seward has not bloomed yet and I'm anxiously awaiting it since I sniffed one a year ago. It has pink stamens too.

As I have said before, Baby Ballerina is a very good single. (in my opinion a superior rose to its parent in New Orleans. I understand Ballerina is stronger elsewhere.)

Now if only Candleflame would bloom, so I can see if it has the darker stamens I lust after! It is sitting there in the florist bucket I bought from Big Lots, biding its time. Dang.
