Flower drop probable causes:

1. Day temp too high >95F
2. Night temp too low 3. Too much nitrogen fertilizer
4. Too much water
5. Low light levels (reduces fertility).
6. Very low humidity (reduces fertility)
7. Poor air circulation (air circulation contributes to pollination).
8. Lack of pollinating insects.
9. Size of pot

10. Too much mineral in feedwater.
11. Too much grower attention.

Besides that; Until today it has been very hot in their location (a south facing deck that gets full sun), so that may be the culprit.

Plenty of circulation but don't know about insects. Had a lot of bees coming to basil and oregano flowers earlier but they've been scarce lately. Only a few small black wasps show up now. Well, them and the dang stinkbugs.

I live in Macon Ga ..can't find what zone I am in .But it is really humid here.I use what they call tomato , or pepper vegetable bloom set. Just follow the directions but it really does help..Humidity is the problem I have here. Hope it solves your problem.

I'm on the border of zones 9/10 and I'm experiencing the same thing as you Revenge. Although, I believe mine might be due to a fertility issue since not a single flower has produced any pollen. The humidity isn't really a problem in my zone and the temps, while they feel like 100F+, are actually in the mid to high 80's. It's a shame too. My habanero is looking really nice and is producing A LOT of flowers right now. My jalapeno is doing well though. It has 20-30 flowers, all producing pollen and is setting fruit just fine.
